Specializing in expert recovery support.
When enough is enough.
Struggling…
Addiction is a progressive pattern that destabilizes a person and their relationships. It eventually affects the way we show up in our personal and professional lives, and especially in relation with our True Self.
Explore options…
There is no one size fits all approach to recovery. I am well trained and experienced in many methods and approaches.
Make connections…
“I define connection as the energy that exists between people when they feel seen, heard, and valued; when they can give and receive without judgment; and when they derive sustenance and strength from the relationship.” Brene Brown
A Recovery Specialist is an individual who provides services to client and family before, during, after or instead of treatment, in a client’s home or community, and/or while traveling.
Skills
I draw on years of experience in recovery and working in the clinical field. I have studied with Gabor Mate, Peter Levine, Harrison Moretz, and Carol Gaskin. I am informed greatly by Brene Brown’s work as well as Carl Jung, Ron Kurts, and Bill Plotkin. I have a degree in chemical dependency, a degree in contemplative psychology with a somatic psychology focus, and am an internationally certified Recovery Specialist. I have trained extensively in Hakomi psychotherapy and I offer my services with trauma informed care, shame resilience, and if desired- spirituality, soul work, and/or 12 step methods.
Abilities
I work with clients and families who suffer from substance abuse, addiction, mental health disorders and co-occuring issues. I have a wide scope of clinical and experiential methods of application. I specialize in authentic connection and transformation practices.

Recovery is recovering our real Self. Before all the addictions, under all the trauma, past all the painful mistakes.
"Our willingness to own and engage with our vulnerability determines the depth of our courage and the clarity of our purpose."
-Brene Brown
“What does one person give to another? He gives of himself, of the most precious he has, he gives of his life. This does not necessarily mean that he sacrifices his life for the other - but that he gives him of that which is alive in him; he gives him of his joy, of his interest, of his understanding, of his knowledge, of his humor, of his sadness -- of all expressions and manifestations of that which is alive in him. In thus giving of his life, he enriches the other person, he enhances the other's sense of aliveness by enhancing his own sense of aliveness. He does not give in order to receive; giving is in itself exquisite joy. But in giving he cannot help bringing something to life in the other person, and this which is brought to life reflects back to him.”
-Erich Fromm
“Ordinary people in times of shame and doubt need an Anam Cara, or a “soul friend.”
-Richard Rohr
Recovery is a lifetime journey. Take it slowly. Relax. Take a deep breath. Each day is a blessing that reveals itself if we just pay attention.
Recovery is real.
